About The Artist

Marilyn St-Pierre’s artistic vision began to emerge when she opened her first art gallery in Palm Springs, California in 1996. She has flourished as a painter and continues to capture the imagination of patrons not only because of her thought provoking compositions but also because of her deepest conviction of the healing potentiality of her work. She never received any professional training in art nor had she any aspirations of becoming an artist. Her love for the arts has kept her in the art circle for over 30 years. She has sold owned and operated many business. Her art gallery, which she operated until 1999, represented many prominent artists and an extensive collection of fine paintings from around the world. It was Marilyn’s skill for acquiring quality art that clearly distinguished her gallery. This skill was further reinforced by spending over 7 years as an art gallery director on Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.

For Marilyn, art is not just and outlet for creative energies. Far from that, art is also a peaceful yet powerful means of confronting larger issues that affect humanity, such as Spirituality, Ecology, Health and Individual Freedom.
When asked the artist who influenced her most, she replied, “No one, not Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet or any other artist, past or present.” As more people began to show sincere admiration for her talent, identify with her work, and give testimony to the positive effects of her paintings, Marilyn gradually developed the courage to go public. As of this writing, her work is becoming enormously popular in the United States, Europe, and Asia, Particularly in Japan. At present there are 23 of her original paintings seen on the walls of a medical clinic in Osaka Japan as of 2012.

In 2006 she published her first art book which can be found internationally “The Healing Journey Of Spiritual Art” which is available on Amazon.com. Her collectors range from Designers, Artist, Lawyers, Actors, Authors, Corporate, Musicians, and Spiritual Healers from all over the world. Marilyn was an Art Director  from 1988 to 1993 for 3 galleries on Maui and on the Big Island of Hawaii from 1993 to 1996. Her business of Art Brokering began in 1993 called Artist Of Hawaii representing 20 local Artist promoting their art in Expos in Las Vegas, New York, California and Hawaii.
 

Marilyn Owned and Operated her own gallery in Palm Springs, CA. from 1996 to 1999 called William Daniell Fine Art which she sold to two Artists. In 2006 she opened her own business Lotus Health and Healing Center In Hawaii a graduate of Ayurveda School Of America. She created 5 CDs for Meditating, and continues to do healing work as a Reiki Master. Over 23 paintings were sold to a Medical Clinic in Osaka Japan. Marilyn travelled for 3 years teaching and showing her artwork in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo.

She was featured in Star People Magazine in 2010, Beauty magazine, Anan Magazine, and Trinity Magazine. Two of her paintings were featured in the center fold of Beauty Magazine in Japan with poems written on each painting by Marilyn.

Marilyn moved to Las Vegas in 2011. Her artwork was shown recently at the Smith Center with WIMA (Women in Music and Art) to support the Nevada Youths in Jazz for Peace, she also had another art show for Life Long Dreams to help under privileged children November 11 th 2012. February 2014 she worked with Forgotten Song Music for Jazz for Peace. Marilyn’s artwork was featured in Forgotten Song Music Art book. In 2015 and 2016 her Art was shown and in auction for the Viva Awards in Las Vegas Nevada,

Marilyn moved back to California in 2015 and has participated in several local Artshows with Lark Gallery in 2016. Art and Marilyn are one. She enjoys helping with the success of local artist in the town she resides.
